The Citation Mustang has been manufactured since 2006 by the global leader in business aviation, Cessna. This aircraft is a light and modern model of the Citation jet range of which more than 5,000 have been flying worldwide for the past 30 years. The Citation Mustang is the first 'Very Light Jet', certified in Europe in 2007. 200 of this aircraft are currently in service all over the world.
Wijet has entrusted the aircraft constructor to maintain its fleet thanks to a multi-annual contract. The maintenance of our aircraft is thus carried out at Paris-Le-Bourget by Cessna European Service Center which serves European clients.
Wijet pilots general have a military background, Air Force or Navy. Throughout their careers, they have undergone exceptional training on a wide variety of aircraft from the Falcon to the Mirage 2000. Our pilots have an average of 3,000 flight hours on their current aircraft. Our first flight crews are thus made up of the most experienced military pilots.
Wijet pilots posses all licences required by European rules. They have been continually trained by Flight Safety, global leader for pilot training.
Our Captains have been hand-picked according to thorough internal selection criteria. Very experienced, they have all been trained specifically at the heart of the European centre dedicated to our aircraft, the Citation Mustang.
